DSA|OC :: Down Syndrome Association Of Orange County

Transition Into Adulthood

Time flies, and before you know it, your child with Down syndrome is a teenager transitioning into young adulthood. There's a lot you need to know about this important transition, so we've put together some resources to help you prepare.

DSAOC also offers networking opportunities with other parents, siblings and caregivers. This is a valuable resource that we highly suggest you take advantage of so you can learn from other families who have already experienced this transition period and may have some 'best practices' you can learn from.

If you have questions, or would like to add additional resources to this section, please contact the DSAOC Center at 714.540.5794 or send your question or information to info@dsaoc.org.
